Next week will mark the 39th anniversary since little Jeffrey Bratcher disappeared. Jeffrey, then 7, was last seen during the evening of June 15, 1974 playing with five other children, including his siblings, inside of Ocean City State Park in Ocean City, Washington.

The young boy was told that dinner would be ready at 7PM and to return to the picnic table that his family were stationed at. When it was nearing 7PM Jeffrey decided to take a separate path back to the picnic table which was approximately 150 feet from the shore. He separated from the other children and within moments he vanished.

The whole park had been searched by police, family and volunteers but no sign of Jeffrey Bratcher was ever found. Search dogs are believed to have picked up his scent which ended at the park’s entrance/exit. Authorities believe he was either kidnapped or somehow managed to fall in the Ocean and got swept out to sea.

At the time of his disappearance Jeffrey and his siblings were visiting his father and step mother in Ocean Shores. His mother, who lived in Mesquite, Texas, had full custody.

Two Years Since 18-Month-Old Joshua Davis Jr Vanished From His New Braunfels Home

davisCase Type: Endangered Missing
Full Name: Joshua Jayvaughn Davis Jr.
Missing From: New Braunfels, TX
Date of Birth: August 16, 2009
Missing Date: 02/04/11
Age Then: 1
Current Age: 3
Height: 2’0″ Weight: 30 lbs
Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Brown

Case Number: NCMC1165276
Clothing: Last seen wearing a blue and red button down long sleeve shirt, a gray long sleeve Rocawear shirt, dark blue Rocawear jeans, a beige and white Rocawear onesie, a diaper, and black and white socks
Other: He may be in need of medical attention

joshua-davisJoshua Davis Jr. was 18 months old when he went missing in New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas. According to his parents he was last seen on the evening of February 4, 2011. The Davis house was full of people when he vanished.

The missing child’s mother, Sabrina Benitez, spoke on HLN back in 2011 and said she was watching “Toy Story” with Joshua shortly before 8PM Friday evening when he left the room, heading toward where six other adults and another child were. About 10 minutes later, when the boy hadn’t come back to watch the video or pick up a toy, Benitez asked the others about his whereabouts and they all responded that they didn’t know where he went. Everyone in the home checked inside and outside. Within minutes, family members called police who started investigating immediately and sent an alert to 2,500 nearby residents believing the missing toddler walked outside and may be lost.

Benitez believes her son was kidnapped — insisting it would have been all but impossible for him to go outside. Even if he did, Benitez said, he would have been smart enough to try to get back in or would have been spotted by now.

Although New Braunfels Police initially assumed Joshua left the home without anyone noticing or taking him. It’s been over two years and theories have changed with most believing he had been the victim of abduction.

One individual was seen going in and out of the Davis home around the time Joshua disappeared, but that person is not considered a suspect. Police don’t think anyone at the house took him and no Amber Alert had been issued for him because such an alert typically requires solid evidence that an abduction occurred.

Still, Benitez said her toddler couldn’t have gotten outside himself, noting he wasn’t tall enough to turn a doorknob.

“The only way that the baby would have gotten out the door is (if) the front door (was) open,” she said. “But we had the doors closed.”

The steps were covered with ice at the time leading Benitez to believe that there would be signs of Josh if he did get out.

Since the beginning of February 2011 dozens of searches, both community and private, have been conducted focusing on wooded/isolated areas to no avail.

“They had scent dogs out here, and (they) said there was no scent of him leaving the yard,” the toddler’s father, Josh Davis Sr., told CNN affiliate KENS back in 2011. “So I don’t see how he could have wandered off, or else they would have picked something up.”

Family still reach out to Joshua on Let’s FIND Joshua Davis, a Facebook page created by loved ones less than 24 hours after he went missing. Many strangers lurked the Facebook page shortly after it was created, criticizing the parents of the young boy. The negativity has since decreased thanks to the administrator of the page.

Anyone with information leading to the whereabouts of Joshua Davis Jr. could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.

Dallas County Woman Missing For Over 30 Years

Jeannette GeselaFull Name: Jeannette Gesela Drzewiecki
Missing Since: September 13, 1982
Missing From: Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.
Classification: Endangered Missing
Date Of Birth: July 6, 1963
Age at Time of Disappearance: 19 years old (Some agencies say she was 25 years old)
Height and Weight: 5’8″ 125 pounds.
Race: White Sex: Female
Hair: Brown Eye: Hazel eyes.
Aliases: Jeannette Gesela Stanelle; Jeanette Reader

Prior to her disappearance Jeannette Drzewiecki was a dancer at Doll’s House, a strip club on Andrews Highway at the time. Her dancer name was “Cherry”. She had also recently taken a job as a waitress and had given birth just days prior to her disappearance.

On the evening of September 13, 1982 Drzewiecki went to Doll’s House in the North end of Odessa for a ‘meeting’ to discuss something with another worker (or her employer). She had a drink or two then said she was going to go home to her daughter. She was never heard from again.

A week later her vehicle, a red pick-up truck, was found abandoned in the South end of Odessa.

It’s been over 30 years since she went missing and authorities suspect foul play.

Most agencies and databases say give the above information however, NAMPN says “Drzewiecki made dinner, kissed her 11 day old daughter and husband goodbye, took the family’s truck and was never seen or heard from again. ”

Also, agencies have her down as 19 and others say she was 25 years old when she went missing.

Another case with similarities is that of Kathy Brownfield Goad missing from Dallas County just a couple of weeks after Drzewiecki.

Tina Bowen was last seen in the early morning hours of July 14, 1997 at her family home on the 500 Street of Silverdale in southeast Conroe, TX. She was asleep during this time. One of her friends had stopped by her house sometime that night. In fact, friends had a habit of stopping by her bedroom window and tapping it to get her attention and her family believes the night she disappeared someone came to her window and she went outside to meet them and something happened. Theres a high possibility that whomever it was, it was someone who Tina trusted.

Her mother noticed she wasn’t in her room at 9AM when she went to check on her. So sometime between 3:30AM and 9AM, something happened. She left all of her possessions behind indicating she planned to come back.

Tina’s family don’t believe she would ever leave willingly without contacting them. Many years have passed and they believe someone out there knows something and are asking for any information that will bring them closure.

Police suspect foul pay.

Age progressed photos showing what Sabrina may look like as a teenager. Her nickname as a child was Brina.

Dara Llorens is wanted by the FBI who has a felony warrant out for her arrest.

Dara kidnapped Sabrina Llorens-Allen in Austin, TX on April 21, 2002 when she was just 4-years-old. She fled to Mexico and were spotted a year later in June 2003 in Mexico City using the names Blanca Aurora Fabian Uribe and Adriana Fabian Uribe but managed eluded authorities.

Sabrina-Dark-Hair-Missing-ChildIn 2003, witnesses in Mexico, including teachers say little Sabrina’s hair was dark and was dyed so much that her hair was thinning and she was on the verge of going bald. Dara constantly changed Sabrina’s hair style and color to avoid detection, and although she is a natural blonde her color could be any shade, especially now as a teenager. The witnesses told police that Sabrina was thin and had lost weight and was reportedly suffering physically and psychologically. Sadly, she hasn’t been seen since 2003 and would be turning 16 years old this year. By now she may have vague memories of her father, who misses her very much. Many relatives are hoping to reunite with her again someday soon.

The still-shit photo shown to the left shows Sabrina with dark-colored hair. It was taken by a witness in New Mexico prior to Dara finding out that the police were on to her, prompting her to take Sabrina yet again, and flee to an unknown location.

Dara is the biological non-custodial mother of Sabrina. Prior to the abduction she had supervised visitation however, a court then overturned the ruling and she was not allowed unsupervised visitation due to being mentally unstable. She decided to break the law, take a child away from her family and loved ones, and avoid authorities for over one decade.

A message from your daddy: Happy Birthday, punkin. I can’t believe you’re 15. For two years it was just you and I, and you were the center of my world. Now it’s a distant memory. I can only imagine how distant it is for you. But I’m still looking for you, and I’ll never stop. You’re old enough to start asking questions about how you got where you are, and to learn the truth. Please come home. I love you and I miss you.

el-dorado-jane-doePhotos of  the unidentified victim (circa 1990)

Date and Location: Unidentified White Female Located on July 10, 1991 in El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas.
Estimated Time of Death: The victim died the same day that she was discovered.
Estimated age: 18-21 years old
Approximate Height and Weight: 5’11″; 150-160 lbs.
Distinguishing Characteristics: She has blonde hair however, it was brown at the time of her death. She had blue eyes, freckles and a birth mark under her left breast. She also had three piercings in her right ear and 2 in left ear.
Clothing: Victim was discovered wearing white ankle socks, acid washed blue jeans, black belt, white T-shirt and white shoes.
Jewelry: A gold-colored, chain type bracelet present on right arm.
Aliases: Cheryl Ann Wick, Shannon Wiley, Kelly Carr, Kelly Karr, Mercedes
Other: Fingerprints, Dental and DNA are available.

This victim was found deceased at the Whitehall Motel in El Dorado, Arkansas on July 10, 1991. Authorities have determined that she resided in the Dallas, Texas region; Shreveport, Louisiana; and Little Rock, Arkansas prior to her death. At the time of her death, she was a resident of El Dorado and had been there for several years according to some reports.

It’s possible that the victim had been a runaway from the Florida area, which may be the reason she withheld her true identity.

Her murderer is James Roy McAlphin and he is in prison now for her murder. She was living at another address in El Dorado but went to the motel where he dragged her into the parking lot and beat her, then took her into the motel room and shot her. The victim came to El Dorado from Dallas in early 1991 where she used the name “Kelly Carr/Karr”. She had worked as a prostitute at the Carousel in Dallas. After leaving Dallas, she stopped off in Shreveport and then arrived in El Dorado. The victim was frequently at the hospital emergency room from beating and was arrested in May of 1991 for bad checks and she gave the name “Cheryl Ann Wick” from Minneapolis. Previous to her death, she worked as a topless dancer in Little Rock and that is where she told her “friends” she was originally from Florida.

unidentified-female-arkansas

After her death, they found a Bible in her belongings. There were several names in it: Willie James Stroud, Sharon Yvette Stroud, Ladonna Elaine Stroud, Johnny Lee Stroud, Viola Elizabeth Ross Stroud, Donna Jean Stroud, Bobbie Joan Stroud and Willie James Dantzler Sr. They subsequently found that this was a Black family in Irving, Texas and they believe that she lived with the family for a while.

At some time she was arrested in Dallas and Houston with the aliases: “Cheryl Wick”, “Sharon Wiley”, “Kelly Carr” and “Mercedes”.

When found, she had an Arkansas ID card which read “Cheryl Ann Wick”. They located the parents’ address and when they called, Cheryl herself answered and said that she did not know her. The police believe that this was a case of identity theft. A detective found a copy of a letter sent from the police to the FBI stating that the suspect had said that her name was “Kelly Lee Carr” age 24, and that she was wanted in Virginia and along the East Coast for bank robbery.

James Roy McAlphin is no longer in prison for her murder, he is in the Robertson unit in Abilene, TX for a sexual assault in Travis County, TX. He was due to be released in 2010.
