“Jane Doe” was discovered the morning of April 27, 2002 (some reports say 04/26/12) behind strip-mall in the 1800 Block of E. University Dr in Maricopa County, Tempe, AZ.  The medical examiner listed her cause of death as cocaine intoxication, which was ruled neither an accident nor a homicide.

There’s just not enough information to know,” said Detective John Thompson of the Tempe Police Department. Who was talking about her cause of death.

According to Doe Network, the victim had been picked up near 32nd Street and Greenway Road in Phoenix the following day while hitchhiking. She advised the driver she had been kicked out of her house due to drug abuse. She also told the driver she wanted to get tickets to a concert. She didn’t tell the driver any more information that would aid in identifying her.

Jane is believed to be a teenager between the ages 15-19 — The medical examiner’s officer say she is Biracial, Native-American or Latino/Caucasian.

“We’ve done everything we absolutely could have to try an identify this person,” said Christen Eggers, an investigator for the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Two unidentified babies discovered deceased in Minnesota may belong to the same mother

Authorities believe the two unidentified babies below may have the same biological mother. Although, they believed they had separate fathers. Both were discovered deceased in Minnesota less than three years apart.

Baby #1

Forensic artists from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children used photographs of the bodies and the infants’ skull measurements to create composite drawings of what the babies might have looked like at the time of their deaths.

The first victim was discovered on December 7, 2003 in Old Frontenac, Goodhue County, Minnesota

Estimated Date of Death: No more than two weeks, no less than two days.

Estimated age: Newborn (less than 48 hours old)
Hair: Curly, black hair.
Approximate Height/Weight: 14″; 7 lbs.

The unidentified baby boy was discovered on December 7, 2003 in Florence Township Beach in Frontenac, MN.

The infant is a girl and she was located November 4, 1999 on the bank of the Mississippi River, in the small boat harbor in Red Wing, MN, a little over three years before the discovery of the boy. She was given the name Jamie.

Time of death: At-least 48 hours prior to discovery but no longer than two weeks.

Authorities think the composites could help piece together a frustrating puzzle. Over the years they have had over a 100 leads, yet the investigations remain unsolved.
Investigators believed that the infants were born alive. Autopsies were never able to ascertain causes of death. Officials believe that mother of the children may have hidden the pregnancies and is probably familiar with the area or possibly still living in the local areas.

Searches were conducted on November 25, 2012 when the missing family suddenly vanished while flying home after celebrating Thanksgiving with Ahrens family in his hometown in Bakersfield, CA.

Ahrens was the pilot and was flying the plane when it crashed in Utah on their way to Gillette, Wyoming. The three stopped off in Fillmore, Utah to refuel and Meyer texted her sister to tell her she would be home in a few hours, that was the last communication before the crash.

Family don’t no what went wrong and described Ahrens as an ”experienced pilot.”

After a week of searches by authorities in Utah, Colorado and Wyoming, a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter spotted the wreckage in mountainous terrain Sevier County at 8.15am Yesterday, November 2, 2012.

The bodies of their two dogs were also discovered.

‘They were just about clear at the top of the mountain. I don’t know if they got disoriented or couldn’t get enough altitude. I don’t know what it is.’ said Sevier County Sheriff, Nathan Curtis.

The bodies have been taken to the state medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.

Shyann Lenz’s biological father, Mark Lenz is devastated with his daughters death.

‘They’re in God’s care now,’ Lenz said. ‘We don’t have to worry about them being cold and we don’t have to worry about them being out there anymore. They’re on their way home.’

Mark Lenz’s Facebook page shows him and his daughter Shyann on the default. He also left a comment saying:

One thing I noticed today, in between crying bouts, is that the world seems more cold and more empty than ever before. I have lost my way and I am struggling to find it again, my children make it easier I guess, but the hurt is still overpowering, I try to look at pictures, which makes me cry harder, I try to pray it makes me cry harder, I try to remember shy and tris being silly and I smile but then cry really hard. Ugh I am unsure how to proceed, usually I have some idea, but not today. Shyann I love you my little angel, daddy is not giving up, he has just lost his way. I cannot wait to see you again, and until then just sit up there with Pop and keep watching your dad make a fool of himself, you always said I was good at that. I love you lil lady, and I will see you soon. Love Daddy

A Facebook group Prayers for Trista, Shy and Matt was created which has turned into a memorial with over 11,000 ‘likes’

A comment posted on the internet from a family member reads:

The hardest part of the day is night. It means we have to stop searching, it means we go back home to again realize you are not there and this nightmare continues, it means the your little sis is going to ask for you again, it means we have to deal with the silence and emptiness, it means we will wake up to start all over again, it means we will cry thousand more tears, it means we will feel we failed you, it means once again we will ask God to watch over you and that we only want him to babysit you and pray that he has not called a beautiful angel home because God doesn’t need YOU…WE DO!!!!
Sweet dreams our son as we say goodnight. God you keep him strong, warm and safe again tonight.

As Joshua’s mother was out walking this past Sunday, she found a copy of The Invitation New Testament lying in her path. The book was open when she found it and she began reading it. This is the reading she shared with everyone who attended the candlelight vigil last night:

Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for because of these things God’s wrath is coming on the disobedient. Therefore, do not become their partners. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in The Lord. Walk as children of the light. For the fruit of the light results in all goodness, righteousness and truth discerning what is pleasing to The Lord. Don’t participate in the fruitless works of the darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what is done by them in secret. Everything exposed by the light is made clear.
