Hit And Run Of Bakersfield Teen Still Unsolved

Victoria Rose Peterson was a 16-year-old teenager who lived and unfortunately died in Bakersfield, California last year on February 1st, 2011. She was the victim of a hit-and-run and her case is remains unsolved. The teen was walking in the driveway to Bakersfield Heart Hospital around 8:10a.m when a pick-up truck struck her, he then sped off. Victoria was prononced dead roughly one-hour later.

The hit and run was caught on camera, although the video is somewhat in a distance, you can still see the truck driving and at the very end you can see two people running over, after the teen was struck. – Clicking the photo of Victoria Rose will link you to a youtube video of the crime.

Witnesses spotted the Suspect speeding off, she was described as a Hispanic female, driving 02-07 model year white Chevrolet Silverado four-door pick-up truck. (also described as a ”white extended cab-truck”)
