Assault Suspect Still on Loose

On Thursday, February 19, 2009, at 8:05am a female resident of Hope Furnace Road, located in Scituate, Rhode Island,
opened her back door to let her dog out and discovered a male subject standing at her door. This male subject reached into the doorway and grabbed the female pulling her out of the doorway and threw her to the ground. The homeowner’s dog exited the residence and started to attack the suspect. A struggle ensued between the female homeowner and the suspect. The suspect then fled on foot and was joined by a second male suspect ( unknown description on this second male
suspect).

Since the incident , the victim has recieved mildly
threatening requests for the discontinuance of these postings and the police investigation. One was mailed to her home. The latest was several crumpled up composite sketches placed in her mailbox which appeared to have been removed from the public posted areas. The words NO MORE were scribbled across these drawings.

The suspect is described as a white male around 30 to 35 years of age. He was around Five foot Nine inches tall and between 170 to 200 pounds. He had brown hair down to his shoulders and his complexion was pocked marked and full of acne. He also had an unusual reddish/purple blemish on his right cheek which could be a possible birthmark. This suspect was also described as having a strong diesel fuel odor on him. At the time of attack, he wore an olive green jacket and blue jeans.
