It’s been over 3 years since Tracy Ocasio disappeared. Her 31st Birthday would be coming up this month (August 2012) her family is still confused and distraught, with her father saying ”thoughts of what could have happened to my daughter still haunt him every day.”

Tracy, who lives on New Victor Road Ocoee, Left the Florida Tap Room Restaurant and Bar on Raleigh Street, (located in Metro West FL) on May 26th, 2009 . She hasen’t been seen since. The following night, on May 27th, her car was found abandoned on Franklin Street in Ocoee, Florida. None of the possestions, including her car keys, were never found.

She had been watching the Magic basketball game with James Hataway, who police consider a person of interest due to his conflicting stories which had many holes in it. Hataway also played the ”blame game” with police, trying to point fingers at others. He has stopped cooperating with Detectives and at this point all circumstancial evidence points to him as either having knowledge or being responsible for her disappearance. Hataway was sentenced to life in prison in May 2011 for the attempted murder of another woman in Seminole County months before Ocasio disappeared.

Despite many clues and tips officials have received in the last three years, investigators are no closer to finding her now than they were when she first disappeared. Detectives have even sent search and rescue teams back over the same sites in west Orange County numerous times, hoping to find even the smallest clue.

Tracy is 5’5” tall and weighed approx 125 pounds at the time of her disappearance. With brown hair with a reddish tint when reflecting the sun and brown eyes.

Tracy Ocasio’s family are desperete for answers and want to know what happened to there daughter. They have a family-run website for additional infomation and photos.
